- ¼ cup of olive oil
- ½ cup of regular vinegar
- A spray bottle
Blend all ingredients in the spray bottle and shake it well every use. Spray it into the leather car seat and wipe the car seat with a cotton rag. You may improve its smell by adding an essential oil.
Fabric Car Seat is much trickier to maintain as it quickly absorbs liquid and it easily get soiled to whatever it comes contact with. Immediate blot fluids so it will not seep down into the car seat and remove any gunk right away. Here’s a reliable homemade cleaner that is sure effective in removing stains and smells.
You will need:
- 1 cup dishwashing soap
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup club soda
- A heavy duty spray bottle
Mix all in a spray bottle and lightly shake. Before spraying, vacuum car seat to remove any dust or solid particles. Spray generously on stained area; wait for 10 minutes before scrubbing away, stains will disappear right before your eyes.
