Starting with the release of the Subaru 360 minicar in the 60’s, the company has produced memorable models which include the current Liberty and Impreza line.

It was also during the 60’s that the Subaru introduced the Subaru 1000, the first vehicle with the now-famous Boxer engine. The flat engine provides handling like no other engine can, with outstanding balance and a lower centre of gravity.

Another popular model is the Forrester, which became the best-selling compact SUV in Australia for four consecutive years. The Outback, launched in 1996, spearheaded the popularity of the crossover vehicle.

Subaru is the first company to deliver drive distribution to all four-wheels, across all models. The technology gives drivers greater grip on wet roads and stay on track through corners.
