Armand Peugeot, grandson of Peugeot founder Jean-Pierre, pioneered their first motorised vehicle’s development. Deviating from their main products, Armand teamed up with Leon Serpollet to produce the steam-powered three-wheeler. This was in 1889 when Peugeot established its reputation as the “world’s second oldest manufacturer and the oldest continuous car brand”.

Peugeot is part of the PSA Groupe allowing this French brand access to manufacturing excellence of the coupe-cabriolet tradition, motorsport models and production cars. Driving enhancement, efficiency, performance and connectivity are main points featured in all Peugeot cars.
They are also well-known in the production of small and rally cars. Winning the World Rally Championship five times, World Endurance Championship twice and Intercontinental Rally Challenge Championship thrice prove that Peugeot is one of the leaders in car manufacturing. They have also received five European Car of the Year awards including this year’s title.
Innovation is a priority in the Peugeot planning room. Modern Peugeot cars offer advanced technology such as the start and stop system, i-Cockpit®, automated park assist, cruise control, speed limiter and grip control.
