2016 Evoque Teaser

Ahead of the Geneva Motor Show, Land Rover released teaser images of the updated 2016 Evoque. Only an image of the headlights was revealed of the baby Range Rover.

It is said that the 2016 Evoque will feature full LED adaptive lights (a first in the Land Rover franchise) which will provide “superior illumination in dark conditions and follow the curves of the road” as per the company.

The headlights with a W-shape looked like an ominous eye while retaining the sporty character of the original.

Gerry McGovern stated that his team’s challenge in designing the update was to “enhance Evoque without diluting its iconic design”.

“The design refreshments give it an even greater presence on the road yet retain the emotion appeal that has made it so popular with more than 400,000 customers around the world,” said McGovern.

The 2016 Range Rover Evoque is set to reach Australian showrooms around September of this year.
